Photo Contest – Weird Stuff at My Parents’ House Winners

Maybe we’re the only ones whose parents have weird stuff in their house. Or maybe Sunny Day Real Estate fans just don’t visit their families very often. Whatever the case, we received only two entries in our “Weird Stuff At My Parents’ House” contest.
Nathan Raban was 16 minutes past the deadline with his entry, but we’re going to reward him with a prize nonetheless. The first prize of the CD reissues of the first two Sunny Day Real Estate albums, Diary and LP2 (The Pink Album) goes to Sherry [above].
She also sent us this:
“This is a ’statue’ that my mom has of a frog in a yellow polka dot bikini and sunglasses lounging on the air conditioner unit by the front door.” Thanks, Sherry!

Reason: I was snooping in her house for a funny picture and found this. I have no idea why she has these. Very odd.
